It is the vision of Caritas Africa and by extension of Caritas Internationalis to synergize the work of charity in the Catholic Church and the function of Caritas. However, in most countries, to this far these two function in silos, hence Caritas Africa towards strengthening the synergy, organized an exchange visit for other Southern African Caritas offices to learn from Zambia.The week-long learning lab ran from 04 March to 09 March 2018. The training was objectively organized to build awareness on how Caritas is structured and how the work of charity is organized in the church, to enhance the understanding of how Caritas should function. Jesus undertook many journeys during his life. As an unborn child he went from Nazareth to Bethlehem. As a child refugee he went to Egypt. As a preacher he travelled the roads of Galilee. His seemingly final journey was to travel up Calvary carrying the heavy wooden beam of a cross.

Hope House is a faith Based charity centre which, continuous to render a quality care to the people of the kingdom of Swaziland and many clients were able to walk back home with the efficient care & support provided by the centre. It was officially opened in 2001.
HIV AIDS clients & all terminally ill people, regardless of their religious affiliation, or age are able to utilise the services of Hope House. Accommodation is provided in individual furnished units. Read more

The International Day of the Sick is celebrated on the 11th of February annually, this year the day fell on a Sunday and it was celebrated at St Peter and Paul Parish at Kwaluseni, Matsapha Swaziland.
The Catholic Commission for Justice and Peace in collaboration with St Peter and Paul organised the wonderful event which was honoured by the Honorable Minister of Health Senator Sibongile Ndlela-Simelane, WHO Representative Dr. Tigest, the local member of parliament honorable Mr. Mkhosi Dlamini, senior Government officials amongst others.
