“Having received the invitation of Sr Elsa Joseph to be the “guest speaker” at today’s Aid’s day at Hope House I started wondering which biblical text could be a good image of Hope House.
True that today, Hope House goes beyond the reality of HIV/Aids but one can never disconnect it fully nor can we forget how it all started. Read more

Hope House had many clients with cancer of various types associated with HIV. Regular health talks are being given to the clients, caregivers and family members to make aware of the need of care, support & treatment.
Tex Ray Company Matsapha donated blankets, clothes and mealiemeal for all the clients who are happy as they are able to keep themselves warm in this winter season. They assured us of their continuous assistance. Read more

In a world where millions of people continue to be displaced by situations of political violence, war and persecution on the grounds of race, religion and political affiliation there is an increasing need for countries to receive, protect and integrate asylum seekers and refugees. Swaziland is home to about 2 000 refugees and Caritas as a social arm of the Catholic Church is in a partnership with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the government of the Kingdom of Swaziland to protect refugees in the country. Hope House continues to enjoy the collaborations and fellowship with various churches and companies.
The Universal Church together with their Bishop provided food hampers for all the patients and staff, and prayed with the clients and shared the Word of God. Read more
